Lace-up footwear - spring/summer

Do you also love shoes that are not only stylish but also comfortable with all the features that come with them? Comfort certainly includes quick and easy wearing. While slip-on or Velcro shoes have gained popularity in various categories of footwear over the past decade, which were previously exclusively lace-up, lace-up shoes remain a classic. The question, however, is whether the lacing on a particular model is functional or merely decorative. Multi-design shoes have also come to the fore, where stylish laces serve primarily an aesthetic purpose, and the actual fastening function is performed by traditional or Velcro straps.

Lace-Up Shoes Are a Classic

Laces are still in fashion despite everything. They can add a splash of color to your shoes or simplify an overly flashy design (a single-color lace with a patterned upper). Classic lace-up shoes, of course, include sneakers. While a few decades ago, only classic lace-up sneakers or slip-on plimsolls were made, today's sneakers often come in hybrid designs. The lacing is incorporated into the design, but the shoe is put on by slipping it on, sometimes with the addition of a functional zipper.
