There is a woman behind Mustang brand
Mustang is one of those brands that has a story behind. Its history dates back to 1932. As it is said a woman is behind everything. And in this case it is literally true. Luise Hermann was an ordinary woman who wanted to help her husband who was not very successful in his timber business. Luise focused on textile production, which was, however, not easy to break through in the post-war Germany. By chance and thanks to a good Frankfurt bar idea, the Hermanns met with American soldiers and agreed on an exchange deal: schnapps for American trousers. There were the soldiers themselves for who the family began to sew first jeans in Europe. The jeans met with an incredible demand. It was the first great success for Mustang. In 1958, the Mustang brand was patented and placed on market. The brand was also inspired by an American lifestyle, freedom of the "Wild West". This is why the American horse was incorporated into its logo. Since 2005 high-quality footwear has also been produced under the Mustang brand.
