"Put your shoes on, the floor is cold, you'll catch cold!" Do you remember the time your caring mum used to admonish you when you were barefoot or wearing only socks at home? Do you live in a house and there is no way to be without shoes and you put on slippers all year round without even thinking about it? What shoes could we expect to be more comfortable than the ones we put on after wearing high heel shoes, sneakers, sandals or boots? Even young children are admonished not to walk around barefoot.
